This mounting kit allows a “factory fitted” in dash installation to many vehicles where they may have a “din” size pocket below the radio or in the console and as this radio quoted above can be fitted without it, it leaves a large margin of gap all the way around the unit looking as it was not meant to be there.
The bracket has also been designed to facilitate as many vehicles and mounting positions as possible with the use of slots in the horizontal and vertical plane.
