High-energy ignition distributor featuring an extended shaft, engineered for 225 cubic inch V6 odd-fire engines used in 1966–1971 Jeepster Commando, CJ-5, and CJ-6 models.

Description

This Dauntless 225 distributor has an extended shaft to allow the distributor to clear the intake and head on 66-71 Dauntless 225 CI Buick Odd Fire engines. We do not recommend using the shorter version. Each Distributor includes: BRAND NEW cap, coil, rotor, ground lead, HEI tachometer 3 prong plug.

*When installing, the ballast resistor will need to be by passed, this distributor requires 12 volts where as the stock distributors used 9 volts.
